[ 01 / THE TOOL ]
What Is Trackiez?
Trackiez is a free browser-based tool for adding motion-tracking graphics and visual effects to video.
Upload a video, choose what Trackiez should follow, customize the tracking graphic, apply effects inside the moving area, and export the result.
Trackiez is designed for quick visual experimentation. No professional editing software, programming knowledge, or complicated setup is required.
[ 02 / THE EFFECT ]
What Effect Can You Create?
Trackiez creates graphics and effects that automatically follow a moving person, face, color, or object throughout a video.
- A rectangle or circle that follows a person
- A tracking label attached to a moving subject
- Pixelation or blur that follows a face
- A moving area of inverted or black-and-white video
- A surveillance or facial-recognition-style overlay
- A computer-vision or machine-vision aesthetic
- A tracked mask with posterization, pixelation, or radial blur
The result may resemble an object detection interface, security camera overlay, video game HUD, tracked censor effect, or experimental digital tracking graphic. It can be used in music videos, fashion films, reels, visual art, performance documentation, and social media content.
[ 03 / WHY TRACKIEZ ]
A Simpler Alternative for This Particular Effect
Similar effects are often created in Adobe After Effects or TouchDesigner.
In After Effects, the process may involve motion tracking, masks, keyframes, adjustment layers, and compositing. In TouchDesigner, it may require building a network of operators and configuring computer-vision components.
Both programs are powerful, but they can be difficult to learn when someone only wants to make a quick tracking experiment. Trackiez turns this particular process into a small set of browser controls: upload a video, choose what to follow, select a look, and record the result.
Trackiez is not intended to replace After Effects, TouchDesigner, DaVinci Resolve, or other professional software.
[ 04 / HOW IT WORKS ]
Tracking and Effects
Trackiez opens with a ready-made demo. Users can explore it or upload their own MP4, WebM, or MOV video.
Color tracking follows areas of a selected color. Users can adjust color, sensitivity, and minimum object size.
Neural tracking uses browser-based computer vision to detect faces, eyes, people, and supported objects such as cars, bicycles, dogs, cats, phones, bottles, chairs, and laptops.
Rectangle or circle, outline color and thickness, smoothness, label text, visibility, and color.
Grayscale, invert, posterization, pixelation, and radial blur inside the tracked area.
Pause the video and adjust the look on a specific frame.
Results depend on lighting, movement, contrast, image quality, and device performance.
[ 05 / EXPORT + PRIVACY ]
Your Video Stays on Your Device
Trackiez can save the current processed frame as a PNG. Video is recorded directly as MP4 when supported by the browser. Otherwise, users can download WebM or convert it to MP4 inside the browser.
Uploaded videos are processed locally and are not uploaded to a server. Trackiez requires no account and does not store user projects in the cloud.
Anonymous analytics may record visits and general feature usage. Analytics does not receive uploaded videos, filenames, custom labels, object searches, or exported files.
Current limitation: exported video does not include its original audio track.
